An accompanist will be provided for Conway and Chicago auditions only. Separate auditions will be held at a later date for youth (17 and under) who wish to audition for the season.
If you do not live in one of the above cities and still wish to be considered for the season, AST does accept video submissions. Please record your audition and either publish it to the web and e-mail a link to email@example.com, or mail a DVD to: Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, PO Box 5236, Conway, AR 72035.
The season consists of Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear, Oliver!, and a Theatre for Young Audiences’ adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Actors will need to be available from May 12-June 30, 2013. AST operates on an U/RTA Tier I contract, and non-equity actors are able to join the EMC program and earn points.
