General auditions for the 2015 season have concluded.  For additional questions, call 501-852-0702.

AST holds general auditions for Equity, non-Equity, and intern actors each year at our home in Conway, Arkansas, as well as in Chicago, Illinois. The Conway auditions typically take place in November, while the Chicago auditions can be anytime from October to December. We also accept video submissions through December 1st of each year. Callbacks happen in January, with casting following shortly. The 2015 season includes: The Merchant of Venice, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Fiddler on the Roof, and an adaptation for young audiences of As You Like It.

Rehearsals for the 2015 season will begin May 12, with the first show opening on June 5.  Shows will continue in repertory until June 28.  For actors coming from out of town, housing will be provided.  All acting positions are paid, and actors are eligible to join and earn points in the Equity Membership Candidate program.

AST is a professional Equity theatre operating on an URTA Tier 1 contract. We will be casting actors of a variety of ages and ethnicities–all are encouraged to apply.
